This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how we acquire and collect, process and analyze, store, fix and update; display, announce, transfer, disseminate or disclose; and/or delete, destroy (“Personal Data Processing”) in accordance with Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (“PDP Law”) and other applicable laws in Indonesia.

  1. Personal Data

    While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain Personal Data, including, but not limited to, information that identifies or can be used to identify an individual, either directly or indirectly, whether on its own or in combination with other information, through electronic or non-electronic means (“Personal Data”). This includes information relating to individuals or customers (“you”, “your”) who browse the Seiko website (“Site”) or use our company’s services (“Services”). Our Personal Data Processing will be conducted based on your consent and/or other lawful bases as permitted under the PDP Law.

  2. Consent for Opinions and Photographs

    Your consent to this Privacy Policy, followed by your submission of Personal Data, constitutes your explicit agreement to such cross-border data transfer, in accordance with the applicable provisions of the PDP Law.

  9. Provision to Third Parties

    Seiko may transfer Personal Data received via the Site to business outsourcers. In addition, we may transfer inquiries received via the Site to successors of the business concerned. In such cases, through data protection agreements, Seiko will require business outsourcers and successors to endeavor to prevent the leakage of Personal Data in the same way that Seiko does.

    Seiko may use Cookies, Web beacons and users’ IP addresses on our Site for the following purposes. Users may limit the receipt of Cookies by changing their browser settings. In this case, however, the range of Services available via our Site may be limited.

    Personal Data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in Section 5 above, unless a longer retention period is required and permitted by applicable laws. Seiko Watch Corporation (“Seiko”) takes extremely seriously its responsibilities regarding the appropriate protection and management of Personal Data and has established the following Personal Data Protection Policy (“Personal Data Protection Policy”):

  1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
    Seiko shall strictly comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances concerning the protection of Personal Data and shall make every effort to safeguard Personal Data in accordance with these requirements.

  2. Establishment of an Internal Management System
    Seiko shall appoint a responsible person for the management of Personal Data in sections that handle Personal Data. Seiko shall establish company regulations and actively promote awareness and education regarding Personal Data protection.

  3. Process of Personal Data
    Seiko shall clearly define the purpose of Personal Data Processing in advance and shall use Personal Data only within the scope of such purposes. Personal Data may be disclosed to Seiko’s affiliated companies which may be located either inside or outside of Indonesia when necessary to respond to or verify the content of customer inquiries or requests.

  4. Protection and Control of Personal Data
    Seiko shall implement appropriate security measures, including information security systems, to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of Personal Data. In the event of a Personal Data breach, Seiko shall provide electronic notification to the affected data subjects and relevant authorities, as required under the PDP Law.

  5. Handling Inquiries regarding Personal Data
    Seiko shall respond promptly, appropriately, and within a reasonable scope to requests for disclosure, correction, or deletion of Personal Data in accordance with PDP Law and applicable laws.

  6. Review and Improvement
    Seiko shall regularly review and update this Personal Data Protection Policy and related internal regulations, in accordance with PDP Law and applicable laws and regulations, to ensure appropriate and effective protection of Personal Data.

  7. Assistance to related Operating Companies
    Seiko shall provide guidance and support to related operating companies to ensure they establish Personal Data protection frameworks and implement appropriate measures for safeguarding personal information according to their circumstances.


Retained Personal Data

Retained Personal Data received by Seiko prior to March 31, 2005, shall be used for the purposes set forth below in accordance with the circumstances under which it was acquired.
