The deep, midnight blue of the dial is the perfect backdrop for the seconds hand that moves in the perfect glide motion that is Spring Drive’s unique signature. It has an almost haunting beauty, like the sky on a moonlit night and the continuous, silent and unhurried progress of the hand seems to add a new and intimate dimension to the relationship of time and nature. The diamond cut hands and indexes catch every ray of light to add a gentle sparkle which is echoed in the perfect mirror-finish surfaces of the Zaratsu-polished case. In a word, serenity.

Didukung oleh unik kaliber musim semi drive Grand Seiko, model ini dilengkapi 44GS Kontemporer Desain, mengambil kontemporer pada desain 44GS, yang diluncurkan pada tahun 1967 dan membentuk landasan Grand Seiko filosofi desain, Grand Seiko Style.

The 44GS design unites the past and the future.
This is a modern re-interpretation of the celebrated 44GS from 1967, the watch that defined the character of Grand Seiko design. It is brought right up to date with a Spring Drive movement and with an advanced case polishing technique called Zaratsu that makes possible the distortion-free mirror finish, even on surfaces that are delicately curved. As a result, the watch has the distinctive sparkle of quality that defines Grand Seiko. This is Grand Seiko at its finest; respectful of tradition but ever willing to find ways to do things better.
