セイコーの創業の地である銀座は、明治以降、世界から新しい文化を取り入れ、文化と情報を発信する最先端の街として発展してきました。現在は、伝統を担いつつも進取の精神を今に受け継ぐ街として、様々な国から訪れる人々を迎え入れ、時代を超えた文化の交わりを体現しています。今回の銀座限定モデルは、銀座から世界へ、その独創性を発信しつづける街の姿をデザインしました。
伝統と品格を備えた美しい色であり、新しいことに挑戦する意欲をかきたてる紫のカラーリングを、「銀座」の象徴としてダイヤルや回転ベゼルに採用しました。
ダイヤルのパターンには、銀座の街路をかたどった「銀座グリッドパターン」をより抽象的にリニューアル採用し、紫色と融合させました。回転ベゼルとダイヤルリングに示された 24 時間 表示によって、３つのタイムゾーンの時刻を知ることができます。
