The most accurate Spring Drive movement ever, paired with a dial inspired by the beauty of ice forests.
FEATURES
This model features a case that embodies the “Evolution 9 Style,” a step forward for Grand Seiko’s iconic design language, the Grand Seiko Style. Its dial captures the enchanting scenery of ice forests that appear during the harsh winter near the Shinshu Watch Studio, located within a Seiko Epson facility in Shiojiri, home of Grand Seiko Spring Drive watchmaking. The intricate dial pattern and coloring express this natural phenomenon with refined craftsmanship.
The watch is equipped with the Spring Drive U.F.A. Caliber 9RB2, which delivers an extraordinary annual accuracy of ±20 seconds, making it the most accurate wristwatch movement powered by a mainspring today.* It also features a power reserve of approximately 72 hours (about three days) when fully wound.
The case and bracelet are made of High-Intensity Titanium, which is about 30% lighter than stainless steel and offers superior scratch and corrosion resistance, ensuring a light and comfortable wearability.
*As of April 2025, based on Grand Seiko’s research.
