Through our Personal Information Protection Policy, Seiko Watch Corporation (Seiko) recognizes the importance of protecting the personal information of customers who use our website and handles such information in the ways listed below.
- Seiko collects the following personal information, as may be applicable, in the course of our
business:
- When using our website, we automatically collect data such as internet protocol (IP) address, time zone setting and location through the use of cookies, server logs, and other similar technologies.
- When filling up our contact or inquiry form, we shall ask for information such as the user’s name and contact details, including their phone number and email address.

Users may limit receipt of Cookies by changing their browser settings. In this case, however, the range of services available via our website may be limited.- Analyze access from users’ computers and smartphones and collect information on usage trends.

Seiko Watch Corporation (Seiko) takes extremely seriously its responsibilities regarding the appropriate protection and management of personal information and has established the following Personal Information Protection Policy:

Compliance with laws and issuances
Seiko shall strictly obey the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other issuances by the National Privacy Commission relating to the protection of personal information and shall endeavor to protect personal information. -
Establishment of an internal system and appointment of Data Protection Officer
Seiko shall appoint a person to ensure its compliance with the applicable personal information protection laws. He/she shall be responsible for the management of personal information in sections that handle personal information,including the handling of security breach incidents, establishing company regulations, thoroughly promoting awareness of personal information protection, and shall serve as the contact person on behalf of Seiko in all matters concerning personal information protection. -
Collection and use of information
When collecting personal information, Seiko shall clarify the purpose of use beforehand, obtain consent if necessary, and use the information within the scope of mutual agreement. -
Sharing and disclosure of information
When collecting personal information, Seiko shall also inform the individual whose information is being collected that Seiko may disclose their personal information with companies affiliated with Seiko Group Corporation, business partners, and other related third parties in order to answer and/or confirm the content of customer inquiries, etc., directed at them. -
Protection and control of information
Seiko shall implement appropriate management by adopting information security and other security measures to prevent illegal access to personal information and the loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information, as well as processes to deal with security incidents and breaches. -

In light of applicable laws, issuances, and regulations relating to personal information possessed by the company, Seiko shall, from time to time, review and improve its Personal Information Protection Policy and company regulations in an appropriate manner. -
Related operating companies
Seiko shall provide assistance and cooperation so that related operating companies establish personal information protection schemes and engage in the appropriate protection of personal information in accordance with their circumstances.

Personal data received by Seiko prior to March 31, 2005, shall be retained and used only for as long as necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes set forth below in accordance with the circumstances under which it was acquired.
