A Spring Drive model with the delicate “Snowflake” pattern on its dial, inspired by snow and wind.
Features
In the ever-changing seasons, nature reveals a variety of expressions, and this constant transformation is a source of the Japanese aesthetic that Grand Seiko holds dear. The pattern on the dial of this model reflects the beauty found in nature. It is inspired by the delicate snow formations seen on the wind-swept surfaces of the Hotaka mountains in winter, expressed through masterful craftsmanship.
Thanks to the Spring Drive Caliber 9R65, an automatic movement equipped with a power reserve indicator, this watch offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours when fully wound.
The case and bracelet are made of High-Intensity Titanium, which is about 30% lighter than stainless steel and offers superior scratch and corrosion resistance, ensuring a light and comfortable wearability.

A dial inspired by driven snow
Visible from the Shinshu Watch Studio, where Spring Drive watches are made, the Hotaka mountain range is blanketed with snow for several months each winter. The snow in these mountains is shaped by fierce winds that carve patterns into its surface, a phenomenon that forms the basis of this watch’s “Snowflake” pattern dial. It is not painted white but is made by a special silver-plating process that allows the delicate texture of snow to be replicated so perfectly.
The blue tempered steel seconds hand moves over the dial in the perfect glide motion that is Spring Drive’s unique signature and reflects the continuous, eternal, and beautiful nature of time.
A case design that beautifully expresses the flow of time
This design was created alongside Grand Seiko’s exclusive Spring Drive Caliber 9R65. Inspired by the smooth motion of the seconds hand, one of the movement’s most distinctive features, the case form is crafted specifically to complement the Spring Drive movement. While rooted in the Grand Seiko Style, the seamless transition from the bezel to the case and case back, along with the tapered silhouette that narrows toward the back, creates a sense of visual continuity and offers a surprisingly light and comfortable wearability for a 41mm watch.
