NEW PRODUCT A tradition that continues to evolve.

Grand Seiko SBGR25

This is a masterpiece that inherits the design of the first Grand Seiko watch. With a monotone color scheme centering on a silver dial, it suits any occasions, from casual to formal. It incorporates Calibre 9S65 and has a power reserve of three days. The beauty of the movement can be enjoyed through the see-through case back. Automatic winding. A 37.0 mm case in stainless steel.

As soon as Caliber 9S was released, its significance was recognized by Grand Seiko fans and watch experts alike. They saw that, while it inherited all the traditional qualities of Grand Seiko, it was an innovative and highly advanced calibre. The designers had achieved their aim; 9S embodied both the tradition and innovation for which Grand Seiko had always stood. It was the perfect evolution of a classic.

The introduction of 9S55 in 1998 was just the beginning. On this platform several other Grand Seiko calibres have been introduced, including a GMT version in 2002 and the hi-beat calibre, 9S85 in 2009. The base calibre, 9S5 series, was upgraded with three-day power reserve in 2010 to the 9S6 series. The hi-beat GMT which was introduced in 2014 won an award for Grand Seiko at the 2014 Grand Prix de Genève.
