The first Australian Exclusive Grand Seiko that honours the resilience of Nature
The pink flannel flower (Actinotus forsythii) is a rare wildflower native to Australia. It blooms under rainfall in the season following a bushfire to bring new life and new colour to landscapes scorched at the hand of fires. It is a sign of rebirth and renewal that showcases nature’s ability to overcome adversity.
The first Australian Exclusive Limited Edition Grand Seiko, SBGJ269, is inspired by this symbol of resilience. Its unique dial mimics the blossoming of the pink flannel flower whilst the red of the GMT reflects the colour of the flower buds just before they bloom.
*One of the 50 pieces will be sold at a public auction to raise funds for charity in the coming months.
