In 1969, SEIKO introduced the world's first automatic chronograph equipped with a vertical clutch system and, in 1983, SEIKO made the world's first quartz chronograph. 24 years later, in 2007, SEIKO again re-defined the chronograph with Spring Drive, by far the most accurate luxury chronograph in the world.
