GS Grand Seiko

 The Spring Drive GMT movement

Caliber 9R66, a Spring Drive movement reserved exclusively for Grand Seiko, offers the extra advantage of a GMT hand on top of the automatic winding 9R65 movement. It also has a 72-hour power reserve. It is lovingly assembled by the craftsmen at the Shinshu Watch Studio.

This watch has long been central to the Grand Seiko Spring Drive collection. It has an enhanced precision rate of ±15 seconds per month, a calendar, and a GMT hand with an hour-adjust function that allows the time zone to be changed without affecting the accuracy of the watch. The rotating bezel is covered by a sapphire glass to give a sense of transparency and depth. With the 24-hour hand, time can be kept in three time zones, making it the ultimately practical watch for the international traveler. Caliber 9R66.
